    Samatha Sharma is an artist and therapist. She assists people in resolving unexpressed emotional issues, finding mental balance and recharging the body with fresh energy. She can help with problems like depression, tiredness, anger issues, finding the right career choices, relationship issues. Her therapies are also beneficial as complementary treatments to physical ailments like chronic pain, diabetes, cancer etc.

     

    Samatha has learnt and practiced buddhist meditation for last four years. She has learnt Vipassana Meditation under the trainings of Mr.Goenka and Mr.Christopher Titmuss. She is also currently studying and practicing Zen Meditation and is a part of the Sangha at the Bodhizendo. Samatha Sharma is a Vipassana Meditation Teacher.

     

    Samatha is a Storyteller telling various mythological as well as personal stories. She won the Best Storyteller of the Year award in 2016. She is a part of the Indian Storyteller Network. Her storytelling work was covered in two articles in the New Indian Express newspaper under the title “The storyteller who heals”. Samatha is passionate about spreading Indian stories to adult audiences in India and to the expat communities abroad.

     

    Since April 2011, Samatha Sharma has been running Energy Clinic, an alternative health center in Chennai, India. More on the work of Energy Clinic is found in the link here. She has a Master's degree from the London School of Economics and a B.E(Hons) degree from BITS Pilani.
